So, how much do you know about Jason Kidd’s NBA career? After contemplating briefly, 19-year-old Cooper Flagg respectfully admitted he wasn’t well versed on the Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer who is also the rookie’s head coach with the Dallas Mavericks. “I’m not extremely familiar. I know he’s a legend, but no. I didn’t watch J-Kidd a ton,” Flagg told Andscape.

Mike Curtis: Jason Kidd on this final play: "With Khris taking the ball out, he was trying to lead Coop because he felt Coop was open. It's just relationship building. In times like this, we need to go through that. Khris is new. Khris saw it. We talked about it & Coop was open for a quick second. With the combination of those two not playing together yet in that type of situation, we need to go through that."

For him to be able to stay, it was great. We try not to play him 40 minutes a night, but his ability as a vet to score and to lead is something that’s needed. We’re happy he stayed.”

Ron Harrod Jr.: Jason Kidd responded to @TheSteinLine report about Khris Middleton being a buyout candidate: “That’s up to Khris. We support whatever decision he makes if he’s going to stay or if he’s gonna get bought out. But I think he’s gotta make that decision here pretty quick.”
