Marc Stein: NBA commissioner Adam Silver has named Toronto’s Darko Rajaković as head coach for Team World in next weekend’s All-Star Game. Detroit’s J.B. Bickerstaff and San Antonio’s Mitch Johnson will coach the two USA teams. The full roster breakdown will be announced later today.

Michael Grange: Darko Rajakovic on his wishes for trade deadline: “there's one guy that I really, really like that I would like to join our team. His name is Jakob Poeltl, that guy can definitely help us.” Poeltl went through a non-contact workout Tuesday and is still considered day-to-day.

Josh Lewenberg: No update on Poeltl, per Darko. “We’re trying to find the best way to get him back on the court.” He’ll miss his 13th straight game (15 of last 16). Was nearing a return last week but the team has pumped the brakes on that, with Jak experiencing continued discomfort in his back

Law Murray: Darko Rajakovic has ruled out Immanuel Quickley (back) for tonight vs Clippers. Garrett Temple and Sandro Mamukelashvili are available. And if you can type that on your iPhone with no typos, respect.

Josh Lewenberg: Barnes is available today vs Philly. Ingram is out but getting close to a return. Barrett had already been ruled out - he’s also day-to-day. As for Poeltl, Darko reiterates that back injuries are unpredictable and says there’s no timetable for his return.

Josh Lewenberg: Jakob Poeltl has been cleared for contact, per Darko Rajakovic. He’s progressing well and is reconditioning ahead of his return. He remains out tonight.

Josh Lewenberg: Darko on Sandro: “His best quality is that he’s an amazing human being and his biggest weakness is he’s an amazing human being. He cares so much… Sometimes guys that have that mentality tend to be a little bit too hard on himself. If they miss a shot, they beat themselves up”
Josh Lewenberg: Barrett is still on a minute restriction but will be available vs Denver tonight after getting Monday night off. Rajakovic says he got through Sunday’s return feeling good.

Given the statistical company he's keeping alongside the Raptors' leap in the standings this season, Darko Rajaković appealed to Canadian basketball fans to rectify the situation and vote Scottie Barnes into his second All-Star Game on Feb. 15 in Los Angeles. "And we need to get this right," said Rajaković. "Canada needs to get this right. Starts with us. Starts with our city. Starts with our country over here. We have 40 million people living in this country, 40 million fans of (the) Toronto Raptors." "Canada we need to get this fixed right now," he added.

"I am puzzled, and I am very disappointed that Scottie did not crack top 20," Rajaković said before the Raptors game against the Orlando Magic on Monday. "I have no doubt that Scottie Barnes is an all-star. I have no doubt that he needs to be towards the top of that list of players in the East."
Josh Lewenberg: Rajakovic on Mo Bamba: "I think this is a good opportunity for him to prove to everybody that he belongs in this league. We're going to have a very clear plan for him. We're going to give him an opportunity to show what he can do and hopefully it works for both sides."

Omer Osman: Darko on Steph Curry dropping 39 tonight: “I saw a video of coach Pop when asked what’s the gameplan for Luka, and he said to keep him under 50, and Luka dropped 51. So, our goal tonight was to keep him at 39.”
