Terrence Shannon Jr, who has missed the last eight games with a left foot abductor hallucis strain, has continued to make progress through his return-to-play rehabilitation program. He will remain as out and further updates of his progress will be provided when available.

Anthony Chiang: Timberwolves injury report for tomorrow's game vs. Heat: Out: Enrique Freeman, Terrence Shannon Jr. and Rocco Zikarsky. Rest of Minnesota's roster is expected to be available against the Heat.

Jon Krawczynski: Rudy Gobert on Terrence Shannon's 3-point shooting: "The whole team is behind him, telling him to let it fly. It’s great when he does that. That, with his ability to attack the rim, is a very, very dangerous weapon for us."

Charlie Walton: Looks like a bug has hit the Wolves locker room. Anthony Edwards and Terrence Shannon Jr. have both been added to the injury report with an illness. They are now questionable to play. It's that time of year.

He looked at the bench’s soft performance in the first 10 games as a personal indictment. He is proud of what he has done here, proud of the folk hero status he has earned in the fan base. Now 26 years old, he has taken it upon himself to mentor the younger players in the second unit, such as Rob Dillingham, Jaylen Clark, and Terrence Shannon Jr. “This is my group, and this is what we have to do,” Reid said. “I know what I have to do to get us going, whether it’s keeping the score going up towards the positive side, or getting the lead back. It’s how I became who I am, and how I became Sixth Man, and put myself in those (positions). So I know what it takes, and I’ve got to lead.”

Before taking the Rockets offer, the Suns had in-depth discussions with the Minnesota Timberwolves about moving Durant for a package that included star center Rudy Gobert, guard Donte DiVincenzo, promising forward Terrence Shannon Jr. and the 17th pick in this year's draft, sources told ESPN. Had that deal come to fruition, there was a place for Beal in the lineup, and the Suns might've made it a priority to keep him.

The Timberwolves do have a few young guards and wings, including Terrence Shannon Jr., Jaylen Clark and Rob Dillingham, who the team believes are ready to step in and take Nickeil Alexander-Walker’s minutes should he move on. The Atlanta Hawks, Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Clippers, Detroit Pistons and Miami Heat are among a number of teams to watch in the hunt for Alexander-Walker.

Dave McMenamin: Chris Finch said Terrence Shannon Jr. was “awesome” in Game 3. Finch added he was “wrestling with” expanding his rotation early in the series and believed Shannon gave the team a different dimension with his physicality and size.
