Nicholas Braun: From the Biden-Harris campaign: 'President Biden is participating in a campaign event at the CRED Cafe on the Eastside of Detroit, where he will be greeted by the owners, the Crawford family, including former NBA players Joe and Jordan Crawford, and will meet with local supporters and leaders.'
With a triumphant nod to this legacy, the Rivertown neighborhood of Detroit welcomes a new beacon of cultural revival: CRED Café. This establishment is not just a business venture; it’s a heartfelt homage to the city’s enduring spirit. Backed by a $60,000 Motor City Match grant, CRED Café is the brainchild of former NBA athletes and siblings, Joe and Jordan Crawford, in collaboration with their family.
The launch of CRED Café strikes a more personal chord. This isn’t just another new business riding the wave of the city’s renewal. For the Crawford family, especially NBA veterans Joe and Jordan, this cafe has been a dream brewing for years. “This wasn’t easy, it was a lot, so I appreciate my family sticking together to make this happen,” expressed Jordan. Growing up in Detroit, the Crawford brothers have walked the same streets, became accustomed to the same local hangouts, and experienced the city’s highs and lows just like any other Detroit native.

JD Shaw: Six-year NBA veteran Jordan Crawford has signed a contract in the NBA G League, agent Darrell Comer tells @HoopsRumors. Crawford, who’s played 281 games with five teams, is pursuing an NBA return.
No fans will be allowed in the stands, which has been the policy at basketball tournaments world-wide during the pandemic. Jordan Crawford, who was with the Pelicans from 2016-18, played for Brose Bamberg inside the German Basketball Bundesliga bubble. He said the most difficult part of the experience was playing six games in a 13-day span. Crawford only had two weeks of practice before games restarted. NBA players will have a little less than two weeks of practice before scrimmages begin. “When it got to game two, three, four, five and six, I couldn’t recover fast enough,” Crawford said. “I wasn’t feeling fresh. My legs were weak. I couldn’t move as quick. On the defensive end, I couldn’t react to people. I don’t like to be cocky or nothing like that, but that competition wasn’t that much. If I could’ve moved the way I wanted to move, we could’ve really won the thing.”
JD Shaw: Free agent guard Jordan Crawford has signed with Lokomotiv Kuban in Russia. Crawford has made past NBA stops with Atlanta, Washington, Boston, Golden State and New Orleans throughout his career.
Emiliano Carchia: Former NBA player Jordan Crawford will workout with Brose Bamberg for the next ten days, a source told @Emiliano Carchia If he passes the tryout he will sign a deal for the season with the German team
