And last one—what will be your legacy? Eric Gordon: What’s my legacy? I’ve had a long career—played longer than I ever thought. Just to see how far I could play. I would love to play 20 years in the NBA. So that would be, as of right now, my goal.
Last dream to make: the Olympics and an NBA title? Eric Gordon: I would’ve loved to take the Bahamas to the Olympics. I would’ve loved that. It’s going to be hard, because that’s in 2028, and as I get older it’s going to be tough. But of course, the dream was always to win a gold medal in the Olympics.
Fast-forward to summer 2024, and I’m getting invited to play for Team Bahamas for the Olympic qualifiers. I was like, Why not? It felt like a good opportunity to level up my game by practicing with that caliber of players — NBA players like Deandre Ayton, Buddy Hield, Eric Gordon. Something for the exposure, you know? Basically, I wasn’t expecting to actually play. Haha. I thought I was going to get the young buck treatment. You know, sit on the sidelines, watch the game, practice….. But also, deep down I was like, I can’t let that happen.

The former first-round pick from France, who played last season on a minimum deal, is projected to have a strong market in free agency.
It does appear that the Sixers can go ahead and plan on veterans Kelly Oubre Jr., Andre Drummond and Eric Gordon all returning next season. League sources say all three exercising their player options to return is Philadelphia's expectation and Morey suggested the same during his aforementioned podcast appearance.
Adam Aaronson: Eric Gordon says he hasn’t thought about his player option for 2025-26 much yet. Just focused on getting healthy.

Shams Charania: 76ers' Paul George is out tonight against the Celtics with groin soreness, sources tell ESPN. Sixers are without George and Tyrese Maxey (back) tonight along with season-ending absences of Joel Embiid, Jared McCain and Eric Gordon.
