Shams Charania: Free agent forward Olivier-Maxence Prosper has agreed on a two-way NBA contract with the Memphis Grizzlies, Todd Ramasar and Mike Simonetta of Life Sports Agency told ESPN. Prosper sifted through multiple offers, and now chooses the Grizzlies to enter his third NBA season.
Q. What's your least favorite city? Everybody's got to have one. Derrick White: Yeah. Memphis probably. I mean, the hotel is probably the worst hotel in the NBA. The food there is good though. I don't know if it's the healthiest for you, but the food actually is really good. But yeah, Memphis it's a tough hotel to be in especially like the Four Seasons and you go like to the Westin, you're like this is it's not the same. Yeah, that's probably my least favorite hotel.
Carpenter got his start as a student manager at Virginia before joining Carlisle in Dallas as assistant video coordinator for the Mavericks during the 2014-15 season. He then returned to Virginia, rising through the ranks until moving to the NBA with the Memphis Grizzlies last season.

The next superstar to request a trade will be ...? 1. Zion Williamson: 10 votes 2. Giannis Antetokounmpo: 7 votes 3. LeBron James: 6 votes 4. Ja Morant: 1 vote 5. Trae Young: 1 vote There isn't a situation simmering this summer that seems as destined for midseason divorce as Jimmy Butler's strained marriage with the Miami Heat was last season. Williamson's stay in New Orleans might have been extended by the Pelicans' front office change, with Joe Dumars replacing David Griffin as the primary decision-maker. If Williamson can have a strong start to the season -- and avoid the injury bug that has plagued his career -- it's feasible that he could seek a fresh start instead of remaining with a New Orleans franchise that seems stuck in neutral. It has been radio silent since James, via his agent Rich Paul, attempted to rattle the Lakers' cages immediately after exercising his $52.6 million player option for this season. The all-time leading scorer and his camp understand just how complicated a trade involving him -- at his age, making that much money, with the contractual right to veto any deal -- would be.
The Magic are staring down over 53,000 miles in a plane - that’s 2x around the world! Part of that is driven by a round trip to Europe, where they will play a pair of games against the Grizzlies in Berlin and London. In this case both teams will have just gotten off the trans-Atlantic flight, and the NBA was nice enough to give each team three days to settle in and try some German beer.
Michael Scotto: Sources: The Philadelphia 76ers will name Ariana Andonian Delaware Blue Coats G League GM in addition to her Sixers Vice President of Player Personnel role. Prior, Andonian was Grizzlies Director of Player Personnel and Rockets Scouting Coordinator. She also worked for Duke.

The City of Memphis and Memphis Grizzlies have a plan for spending $550 million on renovations to FedExForum and an understanding of a long-term agreement to keep the team in Memphis beyond the 2028-29 NBA season, according to public records and multiple people familiar with the matter.
A Shelby County Chancery Court has ordered Memphis restaurant The Wing Guru to pay the Grizzlies' Ja Morant over $300,000 in damages and interest after the All-Star point guard sued them for breach of contract. FOX13 previously reported that Morant had agreed to a contract to promote the business some years ago, but later sued after the restaurant stopped paying him while continuing to use his name, image, and likeness to promote their food.
After I finished assigning credit for each highlight, I summed each player’s Highlight Points to create the following ranking: Ja Morant tops the list despite appearing in just 50 games last season. It helps that Morant had the number one highlight on five separate occasions last season — tied with Anthony Edwards and Donovan Mitchell for the the most among any player in my dataset. Morant hit for the cycle with number one plays featuring his passing shooting, dunking, game-tying, and game-winning plays. LeBron James was the most frequently featured player in the T10, but had just the second most Highlight Points. That’s because most of his highlights landed in the lower half of the countdown (spots 6–10) rather than the top five. Still, I consider James’ looming retirement an existential threat to the entire NBA highlight industry.
