The Memphis Grizzlies have waived Justin Bean and Jacob Gilyard. Both players were signed to non-guaranteed training camp contracts. In addition, the Grizzlies have signed Matthew Hurt and Sean McDermott. Hurt was allocated to the Memphis Hustle of the G League last season, but suffered a torn meniscus, ending his season without a game played.
JD Shaw: The Grizzlies have signed Ahmad Caver and Matthew Hurt, per release. Memphis waived Sean McDermott and Romeo Weems.

Grizzlies PR: The @memgrizz today announced the team's 2021 training camp roster. Memphis converted Yves Pons to a two-way contract and signed Shaq Buchanan and Sean McDermott. In addition, the Grizzlies waived Carsen Edwards and Daniel Oturu.
