“The one thing I’ve always noticed about G.A. is his ability to impact winning,” White said. “Everywhere he’s gone, he’s won. Whether it’s Milwaukee. … he’s been a winner everywhere he goes. He’s been part of a winning culture. He’s been part of a winning organization. So I think first and foremost, he knows what winning looks like, and he knows what it takes to win at this level. I think obviously being one of the best shooters in the NBA is going to help us a ton.

Jusuf Nurkic: After that meeting, nobody cared anymore about what he was showing. He was explaining to Kevin Durant how to make a basket… explaining to him how to score is like teaching a pilot how to fly a plane. It was absurd. In the end, he had a serious alcohol problem, that is known. Maybe that also affected things, but he completely lost control with the team. He started holding one-on-one meetings just to provoke players — Beal, Allen — you would come there and not believe what he was saying.

Duane Rankin: Royce O'Neale on Suns injuries as Mark Williams (foot), Grayson Allen (hamstring) and Jordan Goodwin (cal) are listed as questionable for tonight's Game 2 at OKC: "It's basketball. Injuries happen. You don't want them to, but I think it's just how we bounce back from them. Guys working their way back. Doing all the extra work behind the scenes to come back. Staying healthy is a big part of it. Those guys taking pride coming back. Being able to want to play and then try to get to full strength."

Kellan Olson: Grayson Allen (left hamstring strain), Jordan Goodwin (left calf soreness) and Mark Williams (left foot stress reaction) are all questionable for the Suns tomorrow against the Thunder. No new additions to the injury report for OKC.
