The crypto group's spokesman said it's not their intention to harm anyone, and members of the community have been advised to only throw their branded green items if there is a level of personal comfort and the objects can land without hitting someone. He also shot down any narrative that the sex toys were a sign of disrespect toward the women athletes. Sex toys have been thrown at sporting events in the past, probably the most well known incident was at a New England Patriots vs. Buffalo Bills game in 2018. "We didn't do this because like we dislike women's sports or, like, some of the narratives that are trending right now are ridiculous," he said. "Creating disruption at games is like, it happens in every single sport, right? We've seen it in the NFL, we've seen it in hockey, you know . . . fans doing random things to more or less create attention.
Jayson Tatum was spotted at practice on Wednesday -- just not on a basketball court. The Celtics star made an appearance at the New England Patriots' joint training camp practice with the Washington Commanders. Tatum, who had surgery in May to repair the ruptured right Achilles tendon injury he suffered in Boston's Eastern Conference semifinal loss to the New York Knicks in May, was seen walking without a boot or brace.
It's a welcomed sign for Tatum as he continues a rehabilitation that is expected to keep him out most -- if not all -- of the next NBA season. Tatum mostly stood on the sideline during his appearance Wednesday, interacting with Patriots players and Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels.
The NBA and MLB’s experiments stand in contrast to the NFL’s alleged policy that prevents its teams from joining Bluesky. The New England Patriots were instructed to take down their account because Bluesky is not yet an approved social media platform.
ESPN canvassed 136 teams in the NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB and NHL from November 2023 to July 2024 on whether they offer accommodations that fans with invisible disabilities say would make their game-day experience better. Of the 136 teams, 120 responded. In the NFL, the Broncos, Texans, Patriots, Cardinals and Bengals did not answer questions. In MLB, the Brewers, Pirates, Mariners and Cubs did not answer. In the NBA, the Timberwolves declined to answer and the Clippers responded before their move to the Intuit Dome. In the WNBA, the Lynx declined to answer. In the NHL, the Panthers, Sabres, Jets and Senators did not answer. (The Utah Hockey Club was omitted because of the team's impending move to Salt Lake City.) Some teams did not answer every question in the survey.

Celtics stars Jayson Tatum, Derrick White and Jrue Holiday had a chance to chat with Tom Brady at USA Basketball’s 50th anniversary party Monday. White said he had never met the Patriots legend. “That was dope,” White said. “He’s obviously the GOAT and I was pretty excited to see him. He congratulated us [on the NBA championship] and we talked a little bit about the parade and how it compared to theirs.” So, how were Celtics and Patriots duck boat festivities different? “Ours was warmer,” White said, smiling.
Clemente Almanza: Mark Daigneault, known Pats fan, was asked about Bill Belichick and his coaching style: “Their success, so much has been out there about their team and I just devour it… I’ve always had a very close eye on them as a fan and then it’s evolved past that as I’ve gotten further along in my coaching career. I’ve just got great admiration for the way he runs a whole program.”
CEO and founder Mubarak Malik spent eight years in the Garden keeping the Knicks healthy, and Kyle Kuzma won a title while drinking it. “I’m very excited for an organization of first class like the Brooklyn Nets to carry us. It’s big,” Kuzma said. “They care about their players’ health and clearly (it shows) by making a move like that.” While Barcode supplies the Patriots, Browns and others, the Nets are the first official sports drink partnership they have with any NBA team. “It wasn’t like we were soliciting a bunch of different teams. The Nets branding just from the bottle (in) black-and-white, it’s New York City. I felt like they do a lot more grassroots initiatives with the kids. So it made sense,” Malik said. “The Nets are the first one we officially decided to partner with because of the synergy and the brand and what they were doing with inside their operations team.”

“I think Josh would be a really good owner in that, because he really allows you to do your job,” Rivers said after Friday’s practice. “That’s what he exhibited here. That he hires and allows them to do their work. And I think that being around [New England Patriot coach Bill] Belichick and … all the NFL coaches I’ve been around, that’s a big thing for them. Allow them to do their work, you know. So I think he would do that.”

In response, Dell Curry, the former NBA player, accused Sonya Curry of having an affair with Steven Johnson, a former tight end with the New England Patriots. According to the divorce records, Dell Curry said Sonya Curry started the affair during their marriage and “lied each time she cheated.” According to the divorce records, Dell Curry also said Sonya had been living with Johnson, 56, at his 11,674-square foot residence in Bristol, Tennessee since she and Dell Curry separated in March 2020. That, Dell Curry stated in the filings, would prevent Sonya from receiving spousal support from the date cohabitation commenced.
Emanuel’s most often connected to UFC, the NFL, and Hollywood, but he’s deeply connected in NBA circles: - LeBron’s televised “Decision” was reportedly his idea. - It’s a cinch to find photos of Emanuel sitting courtside at Clippers games with Rihanna, Steve Ballmer, or Patriots owner and longtime Apollo board member Robert Kraft.
