Last week on The Bill Simmons Podcast, I shared that sources around the NBA believe the 76ers have a real chance of signing Paul George this summer. Although George just turned 34, he’s still a tremendous scorer, facilitator, and defender. As The Ringer’s Chris Ryan aptly described him: “The Robin who plays like Batman, he’s capable of MVP-like play, as well as a myriad of complementary contributions.”

Shaquille O'Neal on Kobe Bryant: 'I wanted him to be Alfred but he didn't want it, he was like 'nope, I'm Batman'

JJ Redick: Just to be clear you went through a list a number of your teammates and you didn't mention Kobe and that's because Kobe's not an Alfred, right? He's not an Alfred like you were talking about the guys like me who were like the ‘quote-unquote’ role players. Shaquille O'Neal: The crazy thing about him is I wanted him to be Alfred, but he didn't want it, he was like ‘nope, I'm Batman’, I’m like ‘no, I'm Batman. No, I’m Batman. I'm Batman, I’m Batman… and it worked to our advantage because when you got two guys that want to take over that's 60 points right there, right?

Blazers don't want to trade Damian Lillard at this point?

Let’s put it this way. Whatever Billionaire Bruce Wayne leaves in that little pit he dug when he was out camping, that’s the level of crazy some of the theories we’re seeing have become. Today David Wilson and Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald floated the following at the 3:30 mark of their “Heat Check” podcast: I don’t even know if I buy it 100 percent, but someone that has knowledge of what’s going on, they’re not even convinced that Portland wants to trade Damian Lillard at this point. It almost feels like they’re trying to find a way to maybe change his mind or delay this and see if Dame goes, ‘Well, I’ll just be part of this.

LaMarcus Aldridge just got a new massive back tattoo featuring an image of the Joker ... and check it out -- it's so seriously awesome!!! The former NBA star hit up Andres Ortega and his Onder Ink team last month to get the piece done ... and after sitting under the needle for 10 hours, most of the backside of the hooper's 6'11" frame was completely covered in ink. On the bottom of the tattoo, Aldridge got Batman's nemesis tatted because, according to Ortega, the former San Antonio Spurs forward said there was a time in his life when nobody believed in him -- and this was his way of laughing at those detractors.

Batman is James' favorite superhero. He has a life-sized replica of the mask prominently displayed in his office and has said he'd like to play the Dark Knight in a movie one day. Unlike other superheroes, Batman doesn't have any official superhuman abilities. He makes up for it with his brain, technical prowess, determination and ability to stay one step ahead of everyone else. Though it helps to have a fortune, like Bruce Wayne, James has spent millions on his body over the decades.
