John Collins to Clippers in three-team trade involving Norman Powell
Shams Charania: BREAKING: The Clippers, Jazz and Heat have agreed to a trade that sends Norman Powell to Miami, John Collins to Los Angeles, and Kevin Love, Kyle Anderson and a 2027 Clippers second-round pick to the Jazz, sources tell ESPN.
Shams Charania: Miami is acquiring a major scoring punch in Powell while the Clippers find a dynamic lob threat. Both Powell and Collins are coming off strong seasons. Utah has turned Collins' expiring deal into an asset in the form of a second-rounder in return.

The 2003 No.1 overall pick revealed this during a dinner outing in New York with his wife, Savannah, Miami Heat and former Cleveland Cavaliers big man Kevin Love and his wife, Kate, among others. One of the dinners guests posted a snippet on Instagram of the conversation where James can be heard saying, “Savannah wants me to f–king retire in the next year or so.” His agent, Rich Paul, told ESPN that while LeBron “appreciates the partnership” with the Lakers, he “values a realistic chance of winning it all” and will be closely monitoring the team’s offseason moves.

His passing had a direct impact on Miami Heat forward Kevin Love. Wilson and his brothers started the band with their cousin Mike Love, who is an uncle of the 18-year NBA veteran. Kevin Love's father, Stan Love, a former player for the Washington Bullets, Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs, served as Wilson's caretaker and bodyguard in the 1970s and 1980s as Wilson faced personal challenges. "My Dad and Brian had a special relationship," Kevin Love wrote. "Brian often stayed with my parents when they lived in Emerald Bay. For a period of time, my dad was both his caretaker and bodyguard -- particularly during a period when Brian was struggling with mental health and substance abuse."
