Brendan Vogt: I asked Jamal Murray about his right shoulder - lots of ice tonight and it was taped up in recent games. “We’re good,” he said. Follow up: But what should I say if Nuggets fans ask me about it? “He’s good.”

Adelman said Denver’s third quarter was “arguably one of our best five quarters of the year.” Jamal Murray — 11 for 21 overall, 3 of 4 from 3-point land — led the Nuggets with 30 points. But it was Christian Braun who lit Denver’s fire. He scored 19 points, making eight of nine shots, including three 3-pointers in four attempts. “I think we jelled pretty well tonight,” said Braun, who is starting to look like he’s close to 100% healthy as he recovers from the ankle injury that’s cost him 36 games this season. “As long as we get on the same page before the playoffs is what matters,” Braun continued.

Tim MacMahon: Nuggets star G Jamal Murray is considered day to day after leaving Friday’s loss to the Knicks with an ankle injury, sources told ESPN. Expected to be listed as questionable for Monday’s game in OKC.

Nuggets shooting guard Christian Braun missed 37 games earlier this season with a severe ankle sprain with torn ligaments. Multiple Nuggets sources were cautiously optimistic after the game Friday that Murray had suffered a more mild sprain, but the team was still waiting to get more thorough test results over the weekend, one source said. “It sucks to see him go down,” Braun said. “But just for the team, it felt like we got all the guys back, and pregame I thought our vibe was really good. We were excited to see AG get back and the starting lineup play together again. And it seems like we played, what, 12 minutes? Or whatever it was together. So it sucks for ‘Mal. It sucks to watch.” “This has just been insane,” Adelman said. “Every time we get somebody back, I feel like that game, somebody else goes out.”

Vinny Benedetto: Final: Timberwolves 117, Nuggets 108. The Nuggets are 37-24 and drop to fifth in the Western Conference. Jokic with 35-13-9 on 15-26. Murray with 25-5-4 on 9-22. Edwards leads the Wolves with 21, McDaniels 20.

NBA Courtside: Paul Pierce talking about how the Denver Nuggets can win the West: “Well my case for them they host the best player. They host one of the best home court advantages in all of basketball. They have championship DNA in their locker room. They have more depth this year than they had a year ago, with Brown and Braun, Peyton Watson now coming to the fold and he’s maturing. I just like what Jamal Murray has given this year turning himself into an All-Star. I just think this a team in the playoffs in a seven game series. If you lose to them at home, you are not winning in Denver.” (Via @NFGShow )

The San Antonio Spurs, one of the surprise teams, are on Oklahoma City's heels in the standings. Led by third-year phenom Victor Wembanyama and second-year breakout star Stephon Castle, they have defeated the Thunder four times in five meetings this season. The Denver Nuggets, led by three-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic and first-time All-Star Jamal Murray, have a championship résumé that gives them a legitimate chance at another deep playoff run. All this has overshadowed what's going on in the Eastern Conference, where things are wide open in a way we rarely see in the NBA. "I think there's probably six to seven of us who believe all we need is good health at the right time and we can go on a run," one Eastern Conference general manager, whose team is currently in the playoff picture, told ESPN. "All of the teams in the playoffs are going to be flawed and all of them are going to have upside."

Vinny Benedetto: Aaron Gordon and Peyton Watson remain out for tomorrow's game in Oklahoma City. Jamal Murray (illness), Jalen Pickett (right knee soreness) and Spencer Jones (right shoulder strain) are questionable. Julian Strawther is probable.

The Denver Nuggets ruled guard Jamal Murray out for the rest of their game against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday, Feb. 25. Murray was on the team's injury report before the game, dealing with "right hamstring tightness," but he was deemed available to play. And that's not what took him out of the game. Murray shot just 1-of-3 from the field for two points in 8 minutes of play. He was 0-for-2 from the 3-point line.

Murray was ruled out during the game against the Celtics due to an illness, the team announced on X. He was initially deemed questionable to return before being ruled out. Despite getting almost nothing from one of their stars, the Nuggets won 103-84. "He looked awful," Nuggets coach David Adelman said of Murray, per the Denver Gazette's Vinny Benedetto. "They gave him all the medication. It did not help. ... All kinds of bodily things were happening."

Jamal Murray was feeling under the weather when he arrived for work Wednesday, but he decided to try playing through it. He didn’t last long. After logging eight minutes, he went to the locker room and didn’t return. The Nuggets officially ruled him out at halftime, after attempting to treat the point guard with “all the medication,” according to Adelman. “All kinds of bodily things were happening,” the first-year head coach said.
