Dallas hired a commercial real estate investment and development company earlier this year to find potential sites for a new Dallas Mavericks arena, city records show. The contract was up last month, but the city has not discussed the results publicly. City officials signed off on a three-month consultant services agreement worth up to $75,000 with Hillwood Urban Services in April to help research and suggest new locations away from the NBA team’s current home at the American Airlines Center.

A new $26 million sports-themed hotel in Rwanda that aims to tap into the country’s growing hospitality market will be a template for expanding other sporting businesses across Africa, the former National Basketball Association executive that spearheaded the project told Semafor. Masai Ujiri, former vice president of NBA franchise Toronto Raptors and a retired basketball player, plans to build a collection of hotels in Africa following the opening of Zaria Court, his company’s first hotel property, in the Rwandan capital Kigali in July.
Former Memphis Grizzlies star Zach Randolph has finally offloaded his sprawling Los Angeles home for $7.4 million—11 months after listing the property for the much higher price of $8.5 million. The 44-year-old—who played 17 seasons in the NBA before deciding to end his time on the court—first decided to part ways with the 8,500-square-foot dwelling in September 2024. Since then, the property has come on and off the market multiple times, with the asking price steadily decreasing, first to $8.2 million in January of this year, then to $7.9 million just two months later.

NBA player Tobias Harris and his hoopster-turned-developer brother Terry Harris scored $46.6 million construction financing for an apartment development in Echo Park. The Harris brothers–one currently with the Detroit Pistons and the other playing in a developmental league– secured senior and mezzanine debt from JP Morgan and BlueHub Capital.
The basketball players turned developers have two other Echo Park projects: one at 1230 West Sunset Boulevard and the other at 333 Douglas Street. The latter is set to be 33 apartments, spanning about 22,000 square feet — and the former, 87 apartments and around 42,000 square feet but is not yet under construction.
Former Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis has listed his Bel-Air mansion for sale, six months after he was traded to the Dallas Mavericks in a blockbuster NBA deal. The 17,254-square-foot estate was posted on Zillow Friday morning with an asking price of nearly $40 million. Located on Stratford Circle at the southern tip of Bel-Air, the gated 3.5-acre property includes eight bedrooms and 12 bathrooms.
In a nod to his Oklahoma City Thunder jersey number, NBA star Kevin Durant’s former townhouse has hit the market for a symbolic starting price of just $35. The listing has caught national attention, not only for its unique pricing stunt, but for the home’s luxury, craftsmanship, and Durant’s connection to the city where he spent the early years of his NBA career. Spanning 3,904 square feet across three levels, the four-bedroom, four-bath townhouse sits in a prime downtown OKC location.
Two-time NBA champion Kevin Durant could afford to buy his old townhouse more than a million times over. The highly-paid NBA star’s former luxury townhouse in Oklahoma City listed for just $35 in late May, despite the 3,904-square-foot abode offering all-star amenities and a winning location. The jaw-dropping price tag is earning the already-notable property a great deal of public interest, as well as impressively high offers.

Local Oklahoma City agent Ieasha Larkpor of Thunder Team Realty holds the buzzy listing. Larkpor told The Post in an email that, despite the shockingly low price, she has received 22 offers total. “The owner felt like a basketball enthusiast or Kevin Durant fan would be interested in owning a piece of history,” Larkpor explained. The idea is that buyers should choose what they feel the home is worth. The current owner purchased the home in 2017 for $1.15 million, according to Zillow. They clearly anticipate a return on their investment. “The owner is expecting to have offers around $1 million,” Larkpor said in her email.
This NBA player’s new home — in South Beach’s tallest tower — is a slam dunk. Precious Achiuwa has just bought a two-bedroom, 2.5-bath condo at Five Park Miami Beach, a 519-foot-high, 48-story residential tower at 500 Alton Road, Gimme Shelter can reveal.
The Highland Park, Illinois, home formerly owned by Michael Jordan could serve as the perfect getaway for fans of luxury, privacy and, of course, basketball. The home, which sold for $9.5 million in December, became available for rental on Airbnb this month. According to NBC News, the home is now owned by John Cooper, a real estate investor.
Texas’ splashiest celebrity mansion — with the state’s, and possibly the country’s, largest private residential water park — is back on the market for $16.5 million, The Post can reveal. Since 2009, this 53-acre estate located in the San Antonio suburb of Boerne has served as the US address of French-American NBA star Tony Parker. Now, the retired San Antonio Spurs point guard and six-time NBA All-Star is ready to part with the 10-bedroom, 12-bathroom, 13,300-square-foot mansion he poured his personality into. “My vision was to build something where I can host my family and my friends, and create memories,” Parker told The Post. “I like to host and when my friends come from France, you know it’s a long flight, so I wanted a place where they can come for long stays.”
