Shams Charania: The Cleveland Cavaliers plan to sign guard Malik Newman to a 10-day hardship deal, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Newman has been playing for Cavaliers‘ G League affiliate.
Bobby Marks: The 2 10-Day contracts signed by Malik Newman and JP Macura in Cleveland are technically a 13-day. CBA language is the longer of ten days played or 3 games. Game 3 for Cleveland is not until after the All-Star break on Feb. 21.
JD Shaw: Marques Bolden has been re-acquired by the Canton Charge after his 10-day contract expired with the Cavaliers. Cleveland signed J.P Macura and Malik Newman to 10-day contracts yesterday.
Ridiculous Upside: Earlier today, the Cavs signed Sir'Dominic Pointer to an Exhibit 10 contract and then waived him. It's clear they want him as a returning player for the Charge. He'll join Malik Newman and Levi Randolph as guys that played with the team last year that will be returning.

The Miami HEAT announced today that they have signed forward Emanuel Terry to a 10-day contract. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. Terry, who was originally acquired by Sioux Falls in a trade with the Canton Charge earlier this season on January 5 in exchange for guard Malik Newman, has appeared in nine games (eight starts) with the Skyforce averaging 16.4 points, 9.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.33 steals, 1.11 blocks and 30.7 minutes while shooting 58.4 percent from the field. Additionally, he appeared in two NBA games this season after signing a 10-day contract with the Phoenix Suns on January 27, totaling nine points, six rebounds, three steals and an assist in 20 minutes of action while shooting 66.7 percent (4-of-6) from the field and 1-of-2 from the foul line.

Cooke, who signed a two-way contract with New Orleans on August 1, 2017, split last season between the Pelicans and the Greensboro Swarm and the Salt Lake City Stars of the NBA G League. In 25 G League games (10 starts) last season, he averaged 12.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.40 steals and 25.3 minutes while shooting 45.2 percent from the field. He also appeared in 13 NBA games with the Pelicans, totaling six points, two rebounds, an assist and a steal in 38 minutes of action.
