And then overseas is tough. It's a tough grind. Ten months is a long time (away from home). I've got a lot of stuff going on outside of basketball that is also important to me. At the end of the day, I don't know if any of that stuff was the real reason. “I just felt in my gut that I wanted to do something else. I felt that during my first year overseas (in 2022). I was like, ‘I’m in my prime, I'm so good right now, I can't walk away.’ Literally, this past spring is the best I have ever been. And so I just kept thinking, ‘There's no way that I can walk away.’”
A college star at Virginia, Kyle Guy has retired from professional basketball at the age of just 26. Virginia University has announced that Guy has joined the program as an athlete development mentor and special assistant.

Joventut Badalona have announced a signing of a former Miami Heat guard. According to the club's official announcement, the team has signed an NBA G-League sharpshooter Kyle Guy for the next season.
Dave McMenamin: The Lakers held a free agent workout on Tuesday, sources told ESPN. Participants included Langston Galloway, Kyle Guy, Alize Johnson, Louis King and D.J. Wilson. LAL could have as many as seven open roster spots to fill this summer on its 15-man roster.
Chris Fedor: Kyle Guy has returned to the Canton Charge, the #Cavs G League affiliate. Guy played in 19 games for the Miami Heat after getting called up from the G League in late December.
