Omari Sankofa II: FINAL: Pistons 117, Wizards 95. The Pistons (50-19 overall) have won 50 games for the first time since the 2007-08 season. 13 games to go. Duren: 24 points, 11 rebounds Reed: 17 pts, 2 blocks LeVert: 14 pts, 6 assists, 5 rebs Huerter: 14 pts, 5 rebs, 4 stls

Omari Sankofa II: JB on Huerter: "He’s a really good basketball player, not just a one dimensional guy. He can get to the basket, get to the paint and create for others. Obviously the ability to knock down shots … and he’s been really good for us defensively in our system."

Omari Sankofa II: Asked JB about the Huerter-Robinson lineups vs the Spurs. He said they brought spacing and were heady on defense, and it’s a combo they’ll explore more down the stretch. “It’s the gravity they carry. It’s the decisions that defenses have to make with those two guys on the floor.”

Joel Lorenzi: Coby White says he sensed he’d be traded after Vooch and Huerter were traded. “You can kinda read between the lines.” Said he and the Bulls discussed a future together at some point this year, but “things change. The way the season was going, we weren’t stacking enough wins consistently.”

Omari Sankofa II: JB said they had a good day at practice yesterday getting Huerter acclimated: “He’s a really good playmaker. You can use him as a second side pick and roll guy … he knows how to use screens to get his shots. He’s a complete basketball player.”

Omari Sankofa II: Asked Huerter what he brings: "Obviously shot-making, outside shooting. This team is not fun to play against. I remember playing against them in Chicago earlier this year ... their identity is to be in your face and physicality on defense. I think I’ve gotta do all that more."

Omari Sankofa II: JB on Huerter's brief stint in the 2nd quarter: "Just wanted to give him an opportunity to get on the court. Being down some bodies, there were minutes available … wanted to help him find a rhythm with this group and get comfortable.'

Omari Sankofa II: Bickerstaff called Huerter a “complete” player:“He can play the pick and roll, he’s an elite cutter understanding spacing. Just his ability to process the game as a whole.” On trading Ivey: “As great as this league is, it comes with some emotional things that aren’t always fun.”

Omari Sankofa II: Cade Cunningham (right wrist injury management), Tobias Harris (left knee soreness) and Kevin Huerter (trade pending) are all questionable tomorrow vs the Wizards. Dario Saric (trade pending) is out.

There are two teams to watch Wednesday -- for different reasons: the Chicago Bulls and the Minnesota Timberwolves. Sources told ESPN that the Bulls are exploring trades to move the newly acquired Mike Conley. He won't be allowed to move until Kevin Huerter and Jaden Ivey report and pass their physical from Tuesday's trade. If Conley’s $10.7 million contract is traded and then waived, he could re-sign with the Timberwolves.
