Now that the Knicks are the NBA champions, Ben Stiller can confirm it — he is, in fact, making a documentary about the team. The Hollywood actor, producer and director ended all the speculation during an appearance on Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart’s “Roommates Show” on Wednesday. Stiller, an avid Knicks fan, said the “dream project” will be made with A24 for HBO and has the “full cooperation” of the NBA and MSG.

Ben Stiller: Couldn’t be more excited to make this doc with @a24 and @hbo about the NY KNICKS!!!!!! #LETSGOKNICKS

What's more stressful? Directing a major Hollywood production or watching the fourth as a fan? Ben Stiller: No question. Watching watching a game, watching a Knicks game of fourth quarter. I mean, first of all. But, you know, honestly, like I actually asked Jalen Brunson this once about that. like how do you guys do that when you know and he said, "For us it's different than for you because we're just doing what we do." And the same thing when you're directing a movie. Like for me it's not stressful at all first of all there aren't like you know 50 million people watching in the momento and you have to get it right in that momento. Like that's what I actually love about movies is you can do it over and over again and get it right for the good part, you know.

When it’s 1:30a, you’re tired and punchy, and still have hours of work left, but you just podded with Derek Zoolander … well, you gotta sign off with Blue Steel.

Knicks superfan Ben Stiller has been getting attention for the cool videos he’s been shooting on his iPhone from celebrity row and behind-the-scenes at the team’s games. But sources tell Page Six Hollywood there’s more to those mini-shoots than collecting footage for social media posts. “Ben is filming a documentary for HBO,” said a showbiz source last night during the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden. “He’s filming it on his phone.” (We’ve reached out reps for Stiller and HBO.)

Spurs Nation: Spurs center Luke Kornet, on his favorites from Knicks super fan Ben Stiller: “Realistically it’s probably Dodgeball, maybe Meet the Parents, but I think my favorite character is in Heavyweights, which is kind of like a precursor to the Globo Gym. ... ‘Lunch has been canceled due to a lack of hustle’ is an all-timer.”

The Knicks were accepted as “a joke,” he said, and standards were lowered to cope. “My whole life I’ve lived with this idea that, ‘Oh, the Knicks aren’t going to make it, the Knicks have never been good, the Knicks have been a joke for a long time back in the day,’ ” Stiller, the award-winning comedian and director, told The Post. “It almost became something you accept.” Stiller’s fandom began during the 1973-74 season, when his father’s friends — Freddie and Stan — invited the youngster to their eighth-row seats behind the Knicks bench. Coincidentally, that campaign started a 53-year championship drought and Stiller, whose fandom was reinvigorated after moving back to NYC from LA in 2010, witnessed plenty from courtside seats. “There was a lot of pain,” he said.

Even though the percussion impresario has performed alongside luminaries like Shakira, he admitted he fought his nerves once he spied Jay-Z, Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller and footballer Jeremiah Wright. Knicks superfan Spike Lee even darted over to congratulate Joseph on “a great job,” the drummer said. “It definitely felt like I was a part of history,” Cornelio Joseph said. “This is my dream — every performance I did in every subway and street in this city led to this.”

Ben Stiller: I am a Tom Thibodeau fan. He brought this team back. I felt he gave every bit of himself and was always looking to improve. I will always be grateful for how far he brought the Knicks. They are relevant again. They are championship contenders again. The Knicks became winners again with him. Thank you COACH THIBS.
