He's already won a national championship. Now, former University of Michigan forward Yaxel Lendeborg has something nearly as cool: his own personalized Chipotle bowl. For a limited time, Chipotle is offering the Yaxel Lendeborg Bowl, exclusively on the Chipotle app and Chipotle.com. It includes double steak, white rice, black beans, Queso Blanco, cheese and lettuce.

Chipotle Mexican Grill announced a campaign tied to the 2026 NBA Finals matchup between the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs. The promotion, called “53 Years. 53 Real Ingredients,” links the Finals to a shared milestone from 1973, the Knicks’ last championship season and the start of San Antonio’s professional basketball era.

JaVale McGee invited 10 Twitter followers to a free lunch with him at Chipotle yesterday. And in typically JaVale fashion, the invitation was well-intentioned, but poorly thought out, producing a hilarious result. Given just five minutes notice, only one fan made it to Chipotle: Andy Mathisen, who doesn't even list the Nuggets among his fan allegiances in his Twitter bio. Mathisen took to Twitter to thank McGee, "one of his favorite Nuggets," for the free lunch. Maybe had McGee had just given him the other nine burritos, Mathisen would have called McGee his favorite Nugget.
