The Grizzlies are partnering with Robinhood Markets Inc., a financial services company that will serve as the jersey patch and official investing partner of the Grizzlies. Memphis will join the Washington Wizards as teams with a Robinhood jersey patch this season. Robinhood’s logo will appear on the upper left chest of all Grizzlies uniforms this season and can also be seen on each baseline at FedExForum. The Grizzlies haven't had a jersey patch since 2021 after a three-year deal with FedEx came to an end. “We see the Grizzlies Grit and Grind spirit in our customers and it's something we embody as a company to deliver some of the most innovative products in the industry,” Robinhood’s VP of Marketing and Communications Michael Goodbody said in a news release. “As Robinhood grows our NBA footprint, this partnership is a natural fit and will bring us into the world’s most famous arenas — at home and on the road."

Morant is finally back. Not in a courtroom. Not in a TMZ headline. Not anywhere but a basketball arena in New Orleans (6:30 p.m., TNT), for his long-awaited, nationally televised season debut. Meanwhile, back in Memphis, the City Council will vote on a resolution to transfer ownership of Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium from the city to the University of Memphis. That, then, would officially cement the $50 million gift FedEx founder Fred Smith and his family donated to the university to help begin stadium renovations and maybe ease the stalemate that had developed in regards to future FedExForum renovations and a new long-term lease for the Grizzlies.
All the coaches were in on it and played dumb. Myers had even called Brown while he was at practice to leave an ominous voicemail about needing to discuss something with him. He listened to it before he boarded the plane to Salt Lake City. “Then Raymond drops this FedEx package right in front of him with the fine,” Kerr said. “Mike is reading the whole thing. We’re all playing dumb. He stared at the letter for a minute, didn’t give it away. We get to Salt Lake. I see him in the elevator two hours later. He’s like, ‘I gotta tell you something.’ I’m still playing dumb. He’s like, ‘The league fined me for my shoes. But they said on January 10th. I didn’t wear those white shoes on January 10th.’ He’s the only guy in the league that’d remember which shoes he wore. He’s like, ‘On January 10th, I wore black shoes. I did not wear white shoes.’ That’s when I finally told him. It was one of our better pranks.”

Peter Edmiston: You have seen the Grizzlies' jerseys this year and they do not feature a FedEx sponsor patch. They will not feature it this season, per source, and the Grizzlies are in the process of finding new sponsorship for their jerseys for the upcoming season.
The man was later identified by other news outlets as Patrick Graber, a bodybuilder who lived in a Los Angeles suburb. Graber, then 31, tried to collect a $1 million payment in the scheme but was instead arrested in September 2003 by FBI agents and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. The probe started after Bryant’s bodyguards received a FedEx package with a letter in it describing the plan. The letter was turned over by Bryant's security team and his attorney to the LA County Sheriff's Department.
It stands to reason that even the most ardent Bucks fan might not know who Pleasant is, which is understandable. Pleasant spent nearly four decades coaching at a small school in Michigan called Rochester University, and one of the players who could barely get off his bench was a guard named Jon Horst -- who would go on to become general manager of the Bucks and assemble much of what is now an NBA championship roster. If it wasn’t for Pleasant, Horst might be working at FedEx right now. True story. “He was what our program was about,” Pleasant said, “even though he played very little.”
He was impressive, always working, always listening, living on cheap food and trying desperately to stay in the NBA even though he had an offer for a managerial job at FedEx. Eventually, John Hammond left Detroit for Milwaukee, brought Horst with him ... “And the rest is history,” Pleasant said.
While some agents felt their termination was coming, most of the agents expressed shock when terminated. “I talked to an agent once out of New York who said, “S— my guy was toasting me at my wedding, and a week later, I got a FedEx package,” one longtime player rep told HoopsHype. Another agent was preparing to negotiate a deal for his client on July 1. This agent saw the FedEx truck showing up at his cul de sac on June 15th. At that moment, the agent knew without opening the envelope that he’d been fired and would lose a large commission.

Chris Haynes: Yahoo Sources: While on Orlando campus, players can receive standard deliveries (e.g., USPS, FedEX, UPS). Incoming packages will be processed, cleaned, delivered in timely manner. There will be separate process for food delivery (from approved providers) to get to receipts ASAP.
Wilson Chandler: Building manager called me saying “Oh, I seen Nets players had the virus. We would like to know your status. And if you could possibly stay out of the lobby etc. We can’t afford to lose our staff.” Didn’t even ask was I ok, one. And two, she didn’t ask me if I had been tested and if it was negative or positive. F--- this building man. I’m going home. Has to be 300 + plus ppl in this building coming and going. Plus Fed Ex and UPs deliveries, Amazon etc. F--- that lady man.
In addition, the team announced FedEx as the Memphis Grizzlies’ first-ever Jersey Sponsor. FedEx will be integrated into all jersey editions for players on-court and fans purchasing the new uniforms at Grizzlies-controlled retail locations.
