When discussing Brady’s recent part-ownership purchase of the Raiders, Jeff Teague began daydreaming of dumping an immense load of cash to purchase the Atlanta Hawks — who were valued at an estimated $3.25 billion in 2023, per Forbes. “If I hit the lottery for $500 million or something, I’m giving $100 million to the Hawks,” Teague revealed on the “Club 520 Podcast.” “I wanna be part owner. Easy, like I wanna be of this. But damn, for (Brady) to do that, that’s dope. Yeah, it’s dope.”

Interstate 295, the main highway that runs to the RFK …

Interstate 295, the main highway that runs to the RFK site, would have to be significantly improved or expanded. Bowser has already indicated she hopes to use the more than $3 billion the city received from the federal government in the Biden Administration’s 2022 infrastructure bill to put all or part of 295 underground by 2040, similar to the “Big Dig” project in Boston that rerouted major highways in and out of the city underground and out of sight. And if Harris just wants to build a really, really nice football stadium? Allegiant Stadium, the 65,000-seat stadium where the Las Vegas Raiders now play and which opened in 2020, was built on approximately 62 acres of land adjacent to the Vegas Strip. In this scenario, there would be more than enough room for a Wizards/Caps complex as well, with an additional bell or whistle or two, on the RFK site.

“I think I’ve been on pretty good behavior, for the most part,” Stevens says, “but there’s probably people who would argue that, since my wife sits next to me.” Brady Stevens is a 6-foot-4-inch senior who averaged 20.9 points per game for the Raiders this season. Next year he will walk on at Notre Dame, which is coached by his father’s close friend and former Celtics assistant Micah Shrewsberry. Just like every other parent, Brad is wondering where the time went. Over the next hour and a half, he will sit back and offer sarcastic commentary to friends and family alongside him. And during some quiet moments, as his eyes dart around during play, it will be clear that he cannot completely stop being a coach and evaluator.

You’re very outspoken on social media. How much fun do you have with back-and-forths about the Lakers, Rams, Raiders or even Roman Reigns? O’Shea Jackson Jr.: I love it. The reason why I act like this is because, naturally, I’ve got mad energy. I live for that “Oh my God!” moment. Just the sound of a crowd. I think it’s because my mom was pregnant with me at concerts. The noise of the crowd gets me going. When I was growing up, like, I would never see a Laker fan go as hard as we (should) have every right to go. They always go on these sports shows and let these hosts talk them down. So, I wanted to be the most aggressive Laker fan that any of these shows has ever seen.

Elsewhere, Jackson, who turned 45 on April, celebrated his birthday Thursday night with a star-studded dinner at Delilah in Las Vegas, according to videos on his Instagram Story. Those in attendance included Raiders owner Mark Davis and James’ good friend and former teammate, two-time NBA champion J.R. Smith.

Tom Brady buys partial stake in Las Vegas Aces

After winning seven championships in the NFL, five-time Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady is joining another champion. The 45-year-old former quarterback has reportedly purchased an ownership stake in the Las Vegas Aces. The Aces are the reigning champions in the WNBA and the majority owner of the franchise is Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis. Brady’s purchase is still subject to the approval of the WNBA’s league office and his minority stake is for an undisclosed amount. But his new affiliation with the team should have a positive impact on the organization.

Magic Johnson in talks to buy stake in Las Vegas Raiders

Former NBA star Magic Johnson is in talks to buy a stake in the National Football League’s Las Vegas Raiders at a price that could set a new record for sports deals, according to people familiar with the matter. Johnson has been assembling a team of investors in recent weeks for a minority slice of the Raiders, which is majority owned by the family of the late Al Davis, the people said. One of them said the group was conducting due diligence with the team. A deal hasn’t been finalized and could still fall apart.

Semafor couldn’t learn the price being discussed, but Forbes reported in August that Raiders owner Mark Davis had received an offer from an unnamed investor for a minority stake that valued the team at $6.5 billion. That would be a record for any professional sports franchise, easily surpassing recent deals for both the NFL’s Denver Broncos and the Premier League’s Chelsea club.

When reached for comment, Jay Bloom said, “While it is most certainly too preliminary to comment on our group’s efforts, Bill Foley’s extraordinary success with the Vegas Golden Knights, together with Mark Davis’s Las Vegas Raiders’ incredibly warm reception by the community and his exceptional world class facilities, and further, the addition of the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces, clearly demonstrate that Las Vegas is already a major player in the world of professional sports.” Jay continued, “Be it ultimately our group or someone else, Las Vegas is clearly the most deserving city in the nation for an NBA expansion franchise team.”
