Lakers Daily: James Worthy: "If you have Austin [in], LeBron out, Luka out, you still got a good chance to win because that's just how consistent he is, how much he brings to the table. ... But without him, everybody else suffers."

"Austin clearly felt something," Lakers coach JJ Redick said after the game. "We did our normal halftime and then as we were walking out of the locker room, [Lakers director of player performance and health] Dr. [LeRoy] Sims told me he was out."

The restaurant, located at 205 E. Third St. in the old J. In May I married the love of my life, Brunson Green, at a ceremony in Austin, Texas, that couldn't have been more perfect. In August, we were supposed to go to the US Open, just as every year, but when the car came to take us to the airport, I was nowhere near ready. And for the first time in decades, we missed the flight because I couldn't stay focused to pack. I had been having weird symptoms like this for a week or two, but unless something is really wrong, I'm going to push through. I'm an athlete. Something was really wrong, though. I was in the CT machine at UCLA for all of five minutes before the tech pulled me out and said they were going to have me see a specialist. I've had enough CTs in my life to know they last longer than five minutes and whatever the tech had seen on the first images had to be bad. According to my family, in hours, my mental clarity, short-term memory and comprehension disappeared -- turning into an NBA player's version of "Dory" from "Finding Nemo." Over the next few weeks we would find out just how bad it was.

Lakers Daily: Austin on LeBron: "For all the people that's killing him his whole career for making the right play. If he shot that one, they woulda said to pass, if he passed it, they woulda said to shoot it. You tip your hat that he just cares about winning and making the right play."

Jason Beede: The #Magic have recalled rookie Noah Penda from the G League. Playing on the second night of a road back-to-back Thursday at Austin with Osceola, Penda notched a double-double by way of 11 points and 12 rebounds with 5 assists, 1 steal and 1 block in 25 mins. off the bench.

The Raptors' younger core trained in Toronto for most of May, in addition to heading to Austin, Texas, where Jamal Shead hosted a group of 10 players, along with coaches and training staff, for a four-day training camp in his hometown before Summer League. The veterans were also in Las Vegas for a mini-camp. The next step is a team-wide mini-camp in Madrid during the first week of August. The Raptors held a similar gathering last summer on Spain’s southern coast in Fuengirola, working out of the NBPA’s European training facility. This time around, the Raptors will be training at the leading-edge facilities enjoyed by one of the richest clubs in European sports, Real Madrid.

Trevor Lane: Regarding the report that Austin Reaves doesn't like playing with Luka Doncic, Reaves' agent @AMRAgency had this to say: "Austin has nothing but the utmost respect for Luka and truly enjoys playing alongside him. Any suggestion to the contrary is completely false. He’s excited to be on the court with Luka—both now and in the future."
