Scott Agness: Former Pacer Oshae Brissett has signed with Maccabi Tel Aviv. It's a two-year deal.
Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv has officially announced the signing of Canadian former NBA forward Oshae Brissett. The 27-year-old Brissett signed a two-year deal with Maccabi, following a professional career spent entirely in the NBA and the G League.
Jay King: Jayson Tatum on Oshae Brissett signing a 10-day contract with the 76ers: "That’s my brother. Happy for him. He definitely deserves to be in the league so hopefully he finds a home – even if it’s in Philadelphia."

But Brissett declined his $2.5 million player option and pulled out of Team Canada to look for a new team where he could get more playing time. He didn’t find one … that is, until landing with the Long Island Nets. “I wanted to get out and be around guys who wanted me to be myself, and those are the kind of conversations I had with the Nets guys before I signed,” Brissett told Hardwood Houdini. “So, it was more, more of that.” Fernandez insists he didn’t call in any favors to get his former player inked. “No, Sean [Marks] and I know him well. We know the people he works with. That’s pretty much it. It worked out this way,” Fernandez told The Post. “It’s like everybody else. We all know each other, and it’s just good that yeah he chose this route, and he can do it with us. That’s good.”
Noa Dalzell: Joe Mazzulla on Oshae Brissett: “He’s one of my favorite guys I’ve ever coached — the personality, his character, who he is. Great teammate. It was great to be able to see him, spend time with him. I just hope it works out for him.”

The Boston Celtics traveled to the White House on Thursday to meet with President Joe Biden and celebrate the team’s 18th NBA championship. The 2023-24 Celtics roster, coaching staff, and ownership group were on hand at the South Lawn for Thursday’s event. Even Oshae Brissett, who is no longer on Boston’s roster, was on hand for the event and received his championship ring.

Oshae Brissett: You know things didn't work out the way in my favor. but that's okay, you know. All I want to do is play, bro. Like if I go back to Boston, like how all the fans and you guys want me to come back, I'm literally going back for the vibes, you know what I'm saying? I'm not 36, I'm 26, so I can't go nowhere for the vibes. I want to play basketball. I got a lot of juice left, bro. I'm in the prime of my athleticism and career. You know, I'm supposed to be playing. That's all I was looking for, bro. That's all I wanted."
