She was honored with a Sagamore of the Wabash. A Sagamore of the Wabash is one of the state's highest honors, given by the Indiana governor. In this case, Gov. Eric Holcomb, presented to Leonard Monday by Earl Goode, the governor's chief of staff.

Gainbridge, the presenting sponsor of the Indianapolis 500, can now boast another iconic city sports title -- the namesake of the arena where the Indiana Pacers play, the team announced Monday. Gainbridge Fieldhouse is the new name for the arena at 125 S. Pennsylvania St., known for the past 10 years as Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Pacers Sports & Entertainment, along with Gov. Eric Holcomb and Mayor Joe Hogsett, are holding a press conference later this morning to make it official.

A Larry Bird museum, the only one to be sanctioned by the basketball legend in the Hoosier state, will be housed in the new Convention Center to be built in downtown Terre Haute, Gov.
