As Raptors executives Masai Ujiri and Bobby Webster strolled between the two courts in Mandalay Bay’s Convention Center, speculation surrounded the long-term future of one of Toronto’s rotation players. According to numerous NBA executives who spoke with HoopsHype at the G League Showcase, the top Raptors trade candidate is unanimously Gary Trent Jr.

A Larry Bird museum, the only one to be sanctioned by the basketball legend in the Hoosier state, will be housed in the new Convention Center to be built in downtown Terre Haute, Gov. Eric Holcomb announced Saturday night. Bird will donate personal items and memorabilia from his storied career, with items expected to include special jerseys, trophies, MVP awards, basketballs from championship games, his Olympic gold medal and more.

“We’re looking at an application package,” Grousbeck told the Globe. “But we have to work it out with the Convention Center. We are going to ask for an application package and we’ll see what happens.” The soonest Boston could host the All-Star Game would be 2022.

Scheduled to play are Ne-Yo, Common, JB Smoove, Vinny Guadagnino, Kevin Hart, Javier Colon, Drew Scott, Jonathan Scott, Jesse Williams, Doug Gottlieb, 2011 WNBA MVP Tamika Catchings, Mitch Richmond and former Magic stars Penny Hardaway and Nick Anderson, league officials said. The celebrity game is sold out. A $20 ticket to the Jam Session at the Convention Center does not include admission to the celebrity game.
