Upon being drafted, the Jheri-curled Green, 21, was thrown to the wolves. And his randy teammates did whatever they could to tempt him. “We’d say, ‘A.C., come on, go out with us,’ and he’d say, ‘No, I won’t go out with you guys but I’ll pray for you guys,’” says a chuckling Michael Cooper, Green’s teammate, in the film. “We joked about how long it would last before he had sex,” adds teammate James Worthy. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar remembers how Green would carry a Bible around with him at all times.

The training staffs for the San Antonio Spurs and Miami Heat will probably still keep the extra ice packs, cold towels and beverages at the ready. But the Spurs announced on Friday that the faulty air conditioning system at AT&T Center – which contributed to LeBron James being unable to finish Game 1 because of severe cramps – has been fixed. “The electrical failure that caused the AC system outage during Game 1 of the NBA Finals has been repaired. The AC system has been tested, is fully operational and will continue to be monitored,” the statement released by the team said.

They're used to playing without air conditioning. After the AC went out in the AT&T Center, and temperatures rose over the course of the game, the Spurs' players said it didn't effect them, because it was normal going for them. "Me personally, it didn't bother me," Tony Parker said. "Felt like Europe. We never have AC in Europe, so it didn't bother me at all." "For sure, I've played more years in situations like this than with AC on the court. Not a big deal in that case," Manu Ginobili said.

I ask Iverson if he has a gambling problem. From his days with the Sixers, there are myriad stories of him dropping big money in A.C. at the Taj and Bally’s, getting drunk and being rude to dealers. The stories smack of him throwing his money around recklessly, even dangerously. “You find out when dealing with people that doesn’t have nowhere near as much money as you,” Iverson says, “that a lot of people who don’t have that money and can’t fathom it, would never understand. If I had that much to lose and I know it, then it’s not a problem for me.”
