Police say an estimated $200,000 in watches, jewelry, high-end purses and cash were stolen from the home of former Los Angeles Lakers coach Byron Scott, who now does some analysis work for the Lakers’ cable network in L.A. The break-in at Scott’s Hermosa Beach house is the latest in a string of burglaries to hit celebrities in the Los Angeles area, including Nicki Minaj and Alanis Morissette. Police who arrived at the house at 1:30 p.m. Saturday found a patio door had been forced open.
Ariana Grande was objectively terrible at the halftime show of the NBA All-Star game. She got bailed out by Nicki Minaj, who saved the show from being a complete disaster. Utah Jazz forward Rudy Gobert had some strong words about the whole thing (then later deleted the tweet): Rudy Gobert: No Ariana don't go ass to ass with Nicki you got no chance lol
There were plenty of celebrities at Barclays Center night for Saturday’s festivities. The list included rappers Nicki Minaj, Common and Ludacris, singer Rihanna, comedian Kevin Hart, tennis icon John McEnroe, boxer Floyd Mayweather, actors Adrian Grenier and Michael Rapaport and director Spike Lee.
Six-year-old Miyah had lost her battle with cancer, and Wall, who had befriended the girl months earlier, was disconsolate. In a postgame interview, he was unable to hide his grief: Miyah (full name: Damiyah Telemaque-Nelson) was diagnosed in October 2013 with a form of cancer known as Burkitt’s lymphoma. Her relationship with Wall began this past March, after the guard heard about her desire to meet Nicki Minaj. Wall pitched in with the effort, and along the way he and Miyah became pals.
Before he was released from Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, Lil Wayne got a visit from an NBA player who regards the rap star as a "big brother." "I just went to make sure my friend was good," the Los Angeles Clippers' Chris Paul told Yahoo! Sports on Tuesday after the team's a shootaround at Sleep Train Arena. "I don't really want to talk about what is going on [with Wayne's medical condition]. But as a friend, I just wanted to make sure he was OK." Wayne was released Monday after being hospitalized for nearly a week, according to a tweet from rapper Mack Maine. The Associated Press reported that the Grammy award winner was hospitalized for a seizure. Paul was among several celebrities, including rappers Drake, Nicki Minaj and Birdman, who visited Wayne.

Deron and I have actually known each other for a little bit. We met at an All-Star Game a couple of years ago. I was out partying one night, and here he comes into the club with a whole crew of guys. It was a Nike party in L.A. two years ago, and so he comes with his crew, and there's no room in the entire thing. We had a little room, and so his whole crew starts talking to us and shoves their way into our table. We had an awesome night that night. We had a blast. Kanye West was onstage — Kanyeezy! Was that the same party where your old friend Steve Nash got a lap dance from Nicki Minaj? [Laughs] Nah, that was at a different party. So I've had Deron's number since then, and we were texting sometimes. And he knew I wanted him to come here. We talked when it was all in the process. I didn't fly up on July 1. I wanted him to come. Cubes had to film freaking Shark Tank. I just watched that for the first time the other night. I still didn't. I still refuse to watch it. It was actually not bad. I haven't seen one episode and I probably won't ever see one.
Hip hop artist Nicki Minaj took a shot at Chris Bosh in her latest song. Minaj’s track “Roman Reloaded” featuring Lil’ Wayne has a line that makes fun of Chris Bosh for infamously crying after the Heat lost in the NBA Finals to the Mavericks last year. “All you **** crying, Christopher Bosh,” she says in the song.
The NBA All-Star Game has long been a music star-studded affair, and this year, Nicki Minaj, Pitbull, Mary J. Blige, Ne-Yo and Will.i.am will be among the artists heading to Orlando for the big game. The showdown between basketball all-star teams will air on Feb. 26 on TNT. Pitbull and Ne-Yo will team up for the All-Star Game halftime show to perform their former Hot 100 chart-topper, "Give Me Everything." Rihanna rocked the halftime show at last year's NBA All-Star Game, bringing out Drake and Kanye West during her performance, and more "special guest performers" are promised for this year as well.
Meanwhile, Minaj will perform a medley of her singles, including her brand new cut "Starships" and her smash hit "Super Bass," during the All-Star Game introductions. Blige has been tapped to perform the U.S. national anthem prior to the game, with pop group Neverest delivering the Canadian anthem. On Saturday, Feb. 25, Will.i.am and Flo Rida will perform during the NBA All-Star Saturday Night events, which include the NBA Slam Dunk Contest and Three-Point Contest. The Black Eyed Pea will play his solo single "T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever)," while Flo Rida will perform his pop hit "Good Feeling."
It isn’t often that Steve Nash finds himself on a team that doesn’t make the playoffs, but that was the case for the two-time NBA MVP this season. As a result, he has had plenty of time on his hands, but it appears as though he hasn’t had any trouble finding ways to enjoy himself during his free time, assuming that he would classify a lap dance from Nicki Minaj as enjoyable.

Nicki Minaj, a hip-hop diva who’s blown up over the last year while appearing in songs with established rappers such as Lil’ Wayne, Kanye West and Drake, drops Van Gundy’s name in a recently released song. In the last verse of “Ponytail,” a track Minaj recorded with Mya, Minaj raps the following lyrics: “Ponytail no scrunchie, Parachute no bungie, Peggy and Al bundy, Ballin like Van Gundy…”
Nicki Minaj’s “Moment 4 Life” is blaring on the Madison Square Garden PA system as Landry Fields walks out of the locker-room tunnel at 4:50 on Wednesday afternoon. Clad in a blue Knicks T-shirt, blue Knicks adidas shorts, black Nike sneakers and black socks, Fields’ pregame shooting routine is about to begin. He opens with short baseline jumpers from the right side, launching them from in front of the Knicks bench as assistant coach Dan D’Antoni, coach Mike D’Antoni’s brother, feeds him passes. The only other Knick on the court is Timofey Mozgov, working with assistant coach Phil Weber. And the Knicks City Dancers also are practicing.
