The Heat at Tuesday night’s game against the Atlanta Hawks at Kaseya Center will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the franchise’s first championship, won in 2006. Expected in attendance for the night, which will offer a halftime presentation and other game elements of commemoration, are 2006 Heat champions Earl Barron, Michael Doleac, Udonis Haslem, Jason Kapono, Alonzo Mourning, Shaquille O’Neal, Gary Payton, Wayne Simien, Dwyane Wade, Antoine Walker, and Dorell Wright. Fellow Heat 2006 champions Jason Williams, James Posey, Derek Anderson and Shandon Anderson will not be in attendance.
Friday, the Indiana Pacers announced six new additions to head coach Nate Bjorkgren's coaching staff for the 2020-21 season. Calbert Cheaney and Tyler Marsh were named Assistant Coaches/Player Development; Dylan DeBusk was tabbed as Video Coordinator; and Maurice Baker, Earl Barron and Moses Ehambe were hired as Video/Player Development Assistants.

The Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club has signed center Earl Barron, forward DeQuan Jones (duh-QUAN) and guard Edgar Sosa it was announced today by President of Basketball Operations/Head Coach Mike Budenholzer. Per team policy, terms of the agreements were not disclosed.

The Phoenix Suns signed center Earl Barron to a 10-day contract Saturday. The 7-foot Barron has appeared in six games this season for the Suns, averaging 3.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 13.7 minutes. He had 10 points and 13 rebounds in 24 minutes at Houston on Oct. 13.
Barron's agent, Andre Buck, said Barron will join the Suns for Saturday's game at Chicago, where new acquisitions Brandon Knight and Marcus Thornton also are expected to join the team.
