Kiyan Anthony's first action on a Syracuse court is still roughly a year away, but La La Anthony tells TMZ Sports she's already planning her gameday outfits!!! The mother of the four-star shooting guard -- who she shares with NBA legend Carmelo Anthony -- made it clear to us while leaving the Million Dollar Giveback event in NYC this week that she's "going to be that mom." "I don't have [the 'fits] yet," she told us, "but I think I'm going to be that mom that's, like, Syracuse-geared out. For sure."
During an appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, titled “Life After Professional Athletes,” La La Anthony said her marriage started falling apart after Carmelo Anthony was traded from the Nuggets to the Knicks in 2011. “When we lived here [in New York] under all of that [attention], that’s when things became complicated. I think that was kind of the start, now that I look back, that was kind of the start of the demise of the marriage,” La La said. “It is the hardest with the scrutiny and the media and the press, just everything. It is really hard. That’s not the only reason things didn’t work out, but things got tough with New York… just constantly being under the spotlight and people watching every little thing.”
La La said she had many “sleepless nights” during her marriage with Carmelo Anthony, when the NBA star would travel to different cities. “I never slept. It’s so funny, I used to think certain cities, like oh, ‘those are the problem cities.’ Miami, I’d be like, ‘Oh, I’m definitely not sleeping tonight or I’m going to figure out a way to get there,'” La La recalled to host Alex Cooper, who mentioned athletes having girlfriends in other cities. “But here’s what I found out, dear. Be careful with these other cities that you think don’t have as much going on, because those are the ones guys where the s–t is going down.”
“Charmed” is probably the best way to describe much of Natalia’s life. She went to two prestigious private schools seven minutes apart just outside of Los Angeles, so she’s known a bunch of her friends since kindergarten. Sage Hill High School alumni are known for landing on Forbes’ 30 Under 30. Stanford and UC Irvine men’s water polo teams have used Sage Hill’s Olympic-sized pool for scrimmages. Natalia’s IG features cheerful check-ins from Capri, St. Tropez, and southern Croatia, from the lip of the Adriatic Sea. Her family is tight with La La Anthony and Ciara’s families. Pau Gasol is like a godfather to her and her sisters. “Growing up,” says Natalia, “my parents made it as normal as possible. Thank God they did. It’s not, Oh she’s Natalia Bryant, she’s Kobe Bryant’s daughter. A lot of times they saw me as She’s just Nani.”
La La and Carmelo Anthony's marriage has been through a separation, a reconciliation, and years of speculation -- but now they've amicably decided to officially call it quits. La La filed divorce docs Thursday in New York, 11 years after tying the knot with the NBA star, and cited irreconcilable differences.

The bday getaway was super lavish ... our sources say Kim flew 40 of her closest friends and family on a Boeing 777 to the private isle, where they were handed keys to their own private villas on the beach. Kim's guest list included ... Kris, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall, La La Anthony, Corey Gamble, NBA studs Devin Booker and Tristan Thompson, plus Scott and Mason Disick. We're told Kanye West was not present for Kim's actual birthday -- he had some work commitments -- but Yeezy joined the trip for the final few days.
Carmelo Anthony is off to Portland! On Sunday, the NBA player’s ex, La La Anthony, posted an Instagram photo of their son Kiyan, 12, sharing a sweet goodbye with his father, who is moving to a new state after signing with the Portland Trailblazers last week. In the photo, Kiyan stood beside Carmelo, 35, as the preteen held a basketball in his hand. “He is his dad’s #1 fan & super excited for this new opportunity…but when it’s all said and done, he’s still a 12yr old that is going to miss his dad 😢🙏🏽🏀,” La La, 38, wrote. “Portland you got a great one 🏀🙏🏽#portlandtrailblazers #stayme7o.”
Anthony’s camp is cautiously optimistic that a deal will be struck before Monday, and trying not to think about the potential media circus that will take place if Carmelo is still with the Knicks. Two weeks ago, Carmelo’s wife, La La, said the family thought a trade would have been completed by now. Mentally, Carmelo and his family have moved on to Houston. Reality is another story. Hopefully, Mills and Perry will have the right answers when they address the media on Friday because the Carmelo issue isn’t going away until he goes away.

Carmelo Anthony's estranged wife, La La Anthony, said on "The Wendy Williams Show" on Tuesday that the New York Knicks star's top priority going forward is to remain close to their 10-year-old son, Kiyan. Knicks president Phil Jackson has made it clear that his preference is to trade Anthony this offseason. Jackson said recently that Anthony indicated to the club he'd prefer to stay in New York. Anthony has a no-trade clause and would have to agree to waive it prior to the completion of any trade.
"The most important thing with that is just to stay close to Kiyan," La La Anthony said during the interview, when asked about reports of Anthony being traded. "That's my priority, that's his priority. So wherever he ends up, of course we want him to be happy." Sources told ESPN's Marc Stein that Anthony's camp -- while acknowledging Anthony's preference to stay close to his son -- has tried to engage the Knicks in recent buyout discussions as it establishes the player's options.
