Simone Biles was in New York to make an appearance on the “Today” show, surprising host Hoda Kotb on her final day at the program. Biles showcased her travels with her husband on Instagram as the couple used the remainder of the day to explore the city. Eli Manning was also seen courtside during Friday’s game and sat next to Biles and Owens. The buzzer nearly sounded on "Roommates" before tip-off as they discussed Hart's original arrival to the Knicks in 2023 along with special guest Eli Manning, the pressure of performing in New York almost inspired the two to kill the possession. "We knew the pod was a thing," Brunson recalled. "We knew about it and I think we had a run where we weren't playing as well. So me and Josh contemplated like, yo, we shouldn't do this ... I think we were on a three or four-game losing streak when we started the podcast." The first episode of the "Roommates Show" debuted on Feb. 8, the same day an injury-riddled Knicks team dropped a 122-108 decision to the Dallas Mavericks. That began a streak of four consecutive losses and a stretch of nine defeats over the next 13.

Why should comic book enthusiasts get all the fun? The first ever Fanatics Festival — a massive event billed as “the Comic Con of sports” — will be held at the Javits Center this weekend, Aug. 16 to Aug. 18. Over three days, fans will be able to meet and get autographs from top athletes such as Peyton and Eli Manning, Kevin Durant and Derek Jeter, attend dozens of panels and buy tons of merch to cheer on their favorite teams. “I walked into Comic Con … and thought this thing is insane… there’s quarter of a million people dressed in costumes,” Michael Rubin, CEO of Fanatics, the $31 billion sports merchandise and collectible behemoth behind the event, told The Post.

Her first major NBA marketing effort debuts Tuesday. The Henault-helmed campaign is called “We Are All in the Finals” and was produced by Brooklyn-based creative agency Translation. Planning, she said, began at the end of last year. “This has been the creative I’ve had the most impact on from a marketing perspective,” Henault said. Featured in the multi-spot TV and social campaign are South Korean rapper and NBA ambassador Suga (of the boy band BTS), skateboarder Tony Hawk, late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, and retired NFL quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning. Oh, and a couple of guys named Magic Johnson and Larry Bird (and their championship rings) are in the campaign, too.
