The new Phoenix G League team had the right to select up to 14 unprotected Returning Players, and they could not select more than two unprotected Returning Players from a single existing team. Gary Clark has signed a one-year deal with the Illawarra Hawks, sources told ESPN. Clark, a 6'6 American forward who's played five seasons in the NBA, joins the Hawks as their third and final import signing of the 2023-24 NBL season.

Gary Clark scored 18 points, and the U.S. rallied in the final minutes to top Canada 84-80 in the bronze-medal game on Sunday. The Americans went on a 26-10 run over a 7-minute stretch of the final quarter, turning what was a 63-56 deficit into an 82-73 lead.
Jeremy Pargo led the U.S. with 14 points. Norris Cole scored 11 and Gary Clark grabbed 12 rebounds for the Americans. Both teams shot 39%. But the U.S. committed 18 turnovers to Mexico’s 13, and was whistled for 22 fouls to Mexico’s 15.
