One of the unexpected transfers at the end of the year was the transfer of Boban Marjanovic to Illyria , after nine years spent in the NBA league and a short episode in China. - I would not say that it is the most sound transfer, but the only reason for his arrival there is Luka Doncic. It is a club that Luka supports in different ways. They are great friends and at this stage of his career, Bobby decided to primarily help him, and that is why he is now in Illyria - Ražnatovic concluded.
Boban Marjanovic is the new member of Ilirija, as confirmed on the ABA League website, where this Slovenian club competes. What was speculated in the past few days has now been confirmed, and the Serbian basketball player has become a new member of Ilirija, which is in the ABA League this season.
The team run by general manager Sasa Doncic, father of his former Dallas Mavericks teammate Luka, is a newcomer to the top division of the regional league, after earning promotion from the second tier last season.

So Boban, during the next NBA season—when you were playing—were guys on other teams telling you, "Yo, you were awesome in John Wick"? Boban Marjanović: No—but I remember the day we played against the Lakers. LeBron was coming downhill and I fouled him. I told the referee, “That’s not a foul!” LeBron turned to me and said, “Hey Bobby, this is not John Wick.”

Boban, I’m curious—have you always had a passion for movies? Some people your size just kind of find their way into it, but you seem to naturally love movies. Was it always your goal? Boban Marjanović: I like movies. Movies are always nice to watch and be part of. Of course, watching Shaquille O’Neal and all that he does—he’s my role model. Everything he touches turns to gold. That’s my goal too. Maybe one day I’ll be a TV host—you never know. Maybe I’ll be a DJ—I’m working on my DJ skills. That’s my goal: to be in movies, to try little things like him. Nobody can reach him, but I’m trying a little. When I watched him back then, I thought, “Maybe I can try.” But I didn’t really believe it until I stepped into a couple of commercials, filmed a movie, and saw how it looked. I thought, “Man, I love this.” I’m super excited about it. I’m a big fan. And now—they call me actor. I don’t know why.
