Scottie Pippen: Sad to hear about the passing of Stacey King. A champion, a great teammate, and a true ambassador for the game. His impact on the Bulls organization and the city of Chicago will be remembered for generations. Rest in peace, King.

Larsa Pippen's son Preston got emotional as he opened up about his mom's alleged affair. During the fourth and sixth episodes of Netflix's Calabasas Confidential, the 23-year-old son of Larsa and her ex-husband Scottie Pippen spoke about his mom while with his friends. Preston mentioned that his mom was in a "weird place" and had a "new relationship per usual." "I'm glad I'm not dealing with it all so [up] close," said Preston. "It kind of sucks when your parents are divorced. That's one thing, and then once they start dating, it's another thing. If they get remarried, then it's a bigger thing."
As he continued, Preston got emotional and said his parents don't speak with each other. "My parents got divorced when I was 15, and it was really tough because there was an affair," Preston said, referring to his mom Larsa's alleged affair with Future before officially separating from Scottie. "Kids at school, like my friends, would play music by a rapper that my mom was taking to at the time, and it was just s----y," he continued. "I am removed from it now, so it's easy to kind of talk about."
Kenny Smith: "I don't think I've ever said this, for my first six years I was always jealous of Scottie Pippen. I was so jealous because I was the sixth pick, he was the fifth. I visited Chicago. They brought me in on an interview. I was so jealous because I was like, I knew what he could do and bring out of you. You always have it in you, but you sometimes you need somebody to elevate it to another level. And I knew that he would do that. So I used to look at Scottie and be so jealous of that.

Austin Rivers: But if you want to talk about contributing players on championship runs, Hall of Fame help, when we talk about the Dennis Rodmans, Draymond Green's in that conversation. He is absolutely in that conversation and he has earned his right. But you don't ever see Dennis Rodman on a podcast talking about, ‘man, I should have shot the ball more. I don't know why they drew a place for Scottie Pippen. I don't get it. Phil Jackson hindered my career.’ Never. Never.
Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson: What was the situation with Jerry Krause and the Chicago Bulls? Tracy McGrady: You don’t know the type of obsession Jerry Krause had with me. It was ridiculous. He used to tell my agent, Arn Tellem, “Krause says he’s coming to get you when you’re a free agent.” He must’ve seen something in me. He tried to make things happen the night before the draft and again in 2000. Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson: What if that trade went through and you played with Michael Jordan and Dennis Rodman? Tracy McGrady: [shaking head] Nah. You’re talking about trading a Top 50 player [Pippen] for a rookie who’s not ready. It puts too much pressure on an 18-year-old. To be alongside MJ? Not a good look.
HoopsHype: MJ and Scottie Pippen beat more 60-win teams in the playoffs than any other star in NBA history. Strongest teams they vanquished: 1996 Sonics and 1997 Jazz (both 64-18).

Scottie Pippen: Something just shifted. I’ll leave it at that.
Jorge Sierra: Jayson Tatum (age 28) has passed NBA legends Reggie Miller and Clyde Drexler in playoff scoring. Jrue Holiday moved ahead of Anthony Davis. Also: Scottie Pippen is now closer to Michael Jordan in playoff scoring than MJ is to LeBron James. Pippen is No. 20 all-time.

NBA History: Jayson Tatum & Jaylen Brown record their 50th playoff game both scoring 20+ PTS, becoming the 8th duo to reach the mark. They join Larry Bird & Kevin McHale as the only Celtics duos to do so. The other duos: 74 - Jerry West & Elgin Baylor; 68 - Scottie Pippen & Michael Jordan; 67 - Shaquille O'Neal & Kobe Bryant; 58 - Kevin McHale & Larry Bird; 56 - Russell Westbrook & Kevin Durant; 53 - Klay Thompson & Stephen Curry; 50 - Tony Parker & Tim Duncan.
Advanced statistics also present the case for Barnes: He is 25th in win shares, fourth in defensive win shares, 18th in box plus-minus, seventh in defensive box plus-minus and 13th in value over replacement player. None of the stats is perfect, but together they indicate Barnes has an impact on winning at an elite level. By the way, though nobody would ever confuse him with a pure shooter, he has developed enough in the midrange to post the most efficient scoring season of his career. “I was looking at one of the games (on film), and it had a graphic up that said, ‘The two Scotties.’ And it was Scottie Pippen and Scottie Barnes,” Magic coach Jamahl Mosley said.
Robert Parish: Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. To answer your question, his teammates didn’t challenge him. You can tell by how he looked at me, the deposition and stance that he took. There ain't nobody that challenged Michael. Michael had unchallenged power on that team. And rightly so. He was the main man. He should have had that. But, I just let him know that he's not the first superstar that I played with. Sh*t, Larry Bird was a superstar. I wasn't in awe of Michael Jordan. And I told him so. Sh*t, I played with a bad motherf*cker. Shit, Larry's one of the all-time greats. So why am I going to be in awe of Michael Jordan, may I ask? Let me give you a little context, how all that came about. The challenge, we scrimmage every day, when I was with the Bulls, same as when I was with the Celtics. So first, I was playing with the first team with Michael, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman. And then Phil Jackson put me with the second unit and put Luc Longley back on the first unit. So we beat them four straight games. And so after the scrimmage was over, I asked Michael how did he like that ass whooping. So he took offense to that. [Laughing]
A 1992 Olympics Team USA jersey worn and signed by Larry Bird sold for $896,000 to lead all sales from the Scottie Pippen collection auction held by Sotheby’s. A total of 71 items from Pippen’s personal collection of memorabilia from his Hall of Fame career were sold in the auction, 11 of which went for $100,000 or more. In total, the auction brought in $6.2 million and included participants from 32 different countries, according to Sotheby’s. “Each jersey, sneaker, and collectible I’ve kept over the years holds a memory, a feeling, a story of perseverance and teamwork,” Pippen said in a Sotheby’s news release leading up to the auction. “Now, it feels like the right time to share these pieces and let others carry their stories forward. I’m excited to give fans and collectors the chance to own these special items, to connect with the history and memories they represent, and to experience a part of the journey I was lucky enough to live. I hope they bring the same kind of pride, joy, and love of the game that they’ve given me throughout my career.”
