The Portland Trail Blazers have waived forward Henri Drell. The Blazers signed Drell to an Exhibit 10 contract earlier this offseason.
The Portland Trail Blazers have signed Henri Drell to a training camp contract. Drell is likely to land with the Rip City Remix of the G League as an affiliate player after the preseason. Drell spent last season with the Chicago Bulls on a two-way contract. Drell saw limited action in the NBA, but averaged 14.5 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1.6 steals with the Windy City Bulls of the G League.
Estonia's Henri Drell made his long-awaited debut for the Chicago Bulls on Thursday, becoming only the second Estonian to ever play in the NBA. Drell scored his first career NBA points as the Bulls went down 111-126 to the LA Clippers.
