Fighters gonna fight, but Conor McGregor might have bitten off more than he can chew when he asked to size up Brook Lopez courtside at the Bucks game on Monday night. The hilarious moment came in the second quarter when McGregor was doing the round and saying hello to everyone. He then stopped at Lopez, exchanged some words, before Lopez stood up and towered over him in comical fashion.
Conor McGregor is facing a new civil lawsuit filed by a woman accusing him of sexual assault during the 2023 NBA finals in Miami. The lawsuit, filed Tuesday in the US district court for the southern district of Florida, also names the Miami Heat and Basketball Properties LLC, which operates the Kaseya Center, as defendants. The woman alleges that McGregor sexually assaulted her in a bathroom at the arena after Game 4 between the Miami Heat and the Denver Nuggets on 9 June 2023.
The plaintiff, identified as a 49-year-old Wall Street vice president, claims McGregor was overserved alcohol by arena staff despite being visibly intoxicated. The lawsuit accuses McGregor of battery and the Kaseya Center of gross negligence for failing to ensure a safe environment. It alleges that McGregor led the woman into a restroom stall and sexually assaulted her after an associate forcibly took her to McGregor.
The lawsuit also highlights an earlier incident that night when McGregor punched the Miami Heat mascot, Burnie, during a half-time skit promoting a pain relief spray, resulting in the mascot’s hospitalization. Despite this, arena staff allegedly continued serving McGregor alcohol.

Conor McGregor has been accused of raping a woman at Game 4 of the NBA Finals earlier this month ... but the UFC star says the allegations are not true. According to demand letters, authored by attorney Ariel Mitchell, that were sent to McGregor, the NBA and the Miami Heat this week ... the incident happened just after the Nuggets had won, 108-95, on June 9 at the Kaseya Center in Florida.
But, according to the letters, obtained by TMZ Sports, at one point later on during the evening ... he "violently" sexually assaulted a woman inside of a men's bathroom. In the letters, Mitchell claims that NBA and Heat security helped separate the woman from her friend ... and then forced her into a restroom that McGregor and his security guard were already inside of. In the letters, Mitchell says "security refused to let [the woman] exit or allow anyone else, including her friend, inside the bathroom." The lawyer then claims McGregor emerged from inside of a handicap stall "and shoved his tongue in the victim's mouth and aggressively kissed her."
According to the letters, the woman finally got away from it all ... and reported the assault to local authorities. In the letters, Mitchell said the woman is seeking settlements with the NBA, the Heat and McGregor in lieu of litigation. Reps for McGregor, however, said in a statement Thursday morning the "allegations are false." "Mr. McGregor will not be intimidated," they added.

As if losing Game 4 of the NBA Finals to the Denver Nuggets wasn’t tough enough on the Miami Heat, it turns out the man who plays their beloved mascot, Burnie, was taken to the emergency room of a nearby hospital for treatment after being leveled by former UFC champion Conor McGregor on Friday night. According to a league source briefed on the matter, the man was given pain medication by the doctor and has since been sent home and is doing well.
During a mid-game bit in which McGregor was promoting his pain relief spray, he coldcocked Burnie with a hard left hook and sent him sprawling to the floor before landing another punch on the ground while spraying his product on him as he was dragged away.
