“It was the most difficult situation that I’ve ever been in coming from a Celtics team that was so close. When I got to the Oklahoma City Thunder, it was so separated. You had Eric Maynor, Russell Westbrook and James Harden… and Daequan Cook. They had their little clique and they kicked it with each other. Then you had KD who as just by himself. He didn’t even hang with them.”
David 'Dubi' Pick: Former NBA 3-point winner Daequan Cook signed with Benfica in Portugal.
Daequan Cook should return to Tubingen Walter-Tigers. The former NBA player started last season with Budivelnyk Kyiv and then signed in Germany. Cook averaged 12.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game in Beko BBL in 15 contests.
Mark Deeks: Daequan Cook shooting 5-38 in Ukrainian league play thus far, with no free point attempts. Where'd his jumpshot go?

Daequan Cook is officially a new member of Budivelnyk Kyiv. The shooter, who won the the 2009 NBA All-Star Weekend Three-Point Shootout in Phoenix, spent last season in the NBA between Rockets and Bulls.
Despite coach Tom Thibodeau's mantra that "we need everybody," Hamilton has dropped out of the rotation, with even Daequan Cook logging time ahead of him on the Bulls' depleted roster. "It's hard. I have to be honest," Hamilton told the Tribune. "The only thing I can do is be a good teammate, help my guys out. Try to talk and communicate with them as best as possible to understand time, score and situation. Just try to be as positive and give them advice from all the stuff that I know about the playoffs."
As expected, the Chicago Bulls signed veteran shooter Daequan Cook to a prorated portion of the veteran's minimum Sunday. Cook cleared waivers from the Houston Rockets on Friday evening and should be in uniform for Monday's home game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Bulls have carried only 13 players on the roster all season.

Late word on Thursday night: the Wolves aren't interested in free agent shooting guard Daequan Cook.
