Tony Allen: They were saying they were saying you and Jerry Sloan got into it and you were part of the reason of him retiring. Can you speak to the viewers and straighten that on the out? Deron Williams: I think we were both super competitive people. I think first and foremost, so I wanted to win. And like I said, I talked earlier about the animosity that I held, right? I was a guy who didn't know how to deal with emotions. I didn't learn how to deal with emotions growing up, right? You know, went through a lot of sh*t with in my personal life growing up. And so carried a lot of anger with me. And so when the sh*t went down my rookie year, like I kind of always held that against him. Like it always it always bothered me. There was times where we weren't getting along, especially that last year when what happened was Carlos Boozer left, Al Jefferson came in, we had kind of a new team for the first time. Ronnie Brewer trade got traded, and he was my guy.

A report from the Fayetteville Police Department shows Ronnie Brewer, 32, was arrested about 3:15 p.m. after being pulled over near North Leverett Avenue and West Sycamore Street. Police say Brewer was driving a Cadillac Escalade 35 mph in a 25 mph zone.
The officer asked for Brewer's drivers license and he handed over a notice that his license had been suspended, the report said, noting that Brewer was arrested July 22 in a DWI case. A temporary license that he had been issued after that expired on Aug. 21, the report said, and his full license is suspended through Feb. 21, 2018.
Former Razorback and former NBA player Ronnie Brewer was arrested Sunday morning. Brewer was charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI). When pulled over, he refused to take the test. In addition to the DWI, he also faces charges for violation of the implied consent law, driving left of center, and noise ordinance.

It's now time to get to know Brewer all over again; this time, as the newest member of the defending D-League champion Santa Cruz Warriors. The truth is, he did something quite admirable, as it relates to this generation of NBA players, last season. "I sat out last year. I didn't get invited to training camp. People thought I was hurt or whatnot. I was working out and staying in shape, but I started taking online classes. I got to the point where I was two classes away before I could graduate since I [initially] left school for the NBA Draft," Brewer explained to RidiculousUpside.com. "I still have the desire to play basketball. I wanted to give this another shot. There's a lot of great talent in the D-League, and the Warriors are a great organization. I'm blessed."

Prosecutors say former Chicago Bulls forward Ronnie Brewer has been sentenced to probation after pleading no contest to driving drunk in Beverly Hills. The Los Angeles County district attorney's office says the 29-year-old Brewer entered the plea to the misdemeanor charge through an attorney Tuesday. Prosecutors had alleged he was driving at about twice the legal blood-alcohol limit when he was pulled over near Rodeo Drive in February.
KC Johnson: Bulls waive the non-guaranteed deals of Mike James, Lou Amundsen and Ronnie Brewer. This will start their several transactions.

The Bulls quickly moved on, working to finalize an agreement with Pau Gasol. League sources said a sign-and-trade acquisition has been discussed with the Lakers in order for the Bulls to land the All-Star center from Spain. Though the Lakers would have to nimbly execute several transactions that started with Friday's agreement to trade for the Rockets' Jeremy Lin, a league source indicated the Bulls have discussed sending Mike Dunleavy and the non-guaranteed contracts of Mike James, Lou Amundsen and Ronnie Brewer to the Lakers.
